RADAR is always on the lookout for enthusiastic people who want to volunteer to help us in our campaigns and membership activities.
Our volunteers provide us with a wide range of support, and are vital for keeping the office running smoothly, assisting the campaigning, research, membership, political, fundraising, finance and publication teams. This assistance is essential as it allows the teams to undertake more work in their specialist areas, generating more productivity for the organisation and helping us to achieve our campaigning goals.
Duties which volunteer may be asked to undertake include:
- Research into a policy area (internet and phone)
- Assisting with member research
- Faxing and photocopying
- Credit control telephone calls
- Chasing advert copy
- General calls
- Assisting with mailout despatch
- Scaning
- Filing
- Shredding
- Copy typing
