THE RADAR BUILDER GROUP

BUILD US UP

In January 2006 the RADAR Builder Group (RBG) was launched to the business sector, providing them with an opportunity to support our members throughout the UK. By giving an annual donation of £4,000, not only will companies be assisting the work carried out by RADAR, they will also be able to have easy access to our expertise in the disability sector. The donations received will guarantee a continued and positive future for all our members, over 400 national and local groups of and for disabled people.

RADAR is frequently asked by Chief Executives, Directors of Corporate Social Responsibility and Diversity Managers how they can become involved to help us continue our key role at the centre of the disability movement.

Our Builder Group is THE Answer

By becoming a RADAR Builder and pledging your annual donation of £4,000 you will be directly supporting all of RADAR's members, both local and national groups for disabled people, thereby assisting us to continuously help them by building a more just and fair society. You will also become part of a unique Group creating a barrier-free labour market which is in all our interests.

You will also enjoy the following additional benefits:

  • Easy access to information and support on all disability issues.   With the Disability Rights Commission being dissolved and its work taken on by the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, information will not be as readily available.    This presents real challenges for the disability movement
  • An invitation to attend two meetings per annum specifically designed for Builders.   These will offer information on good practice and relevant legislation, as well as giving you the opportunity to network and share information with other organisations
  • You will be offered the opportunity to have a link to your website from the Builder Page on RADAR's website http://www.radar.org.uk/radarwebsite/tabid/108/default.aspx
  • You will have the opportunity to attend an annual event especially for Builders, at Westminster, to meet key influencers and decision makers
  • Please help us to continue our key role at the centre of the disability movement by contacting Ed Mylles today.
