  • Travel Insurance for Disabled Children
    • Barnardo’s has teamed up with travel insurance specialists P J Hayman and Company to offer a travel insurance package available to children, young people and their families with pre existing medical conditions. The Free Spirit policy is specifically designed to meet the needs of these families. Any surplus generated by Barnardo’s from this will be re-invested in their work with children. There are reduced premiums for people without medical conditions on the same policy.   • Holiday House for Families with Children with Autism
    • The Harriet Davis Trust has holiday houses for families with children with severe physical impairments in Pembrokeshire. It has now opened its fourth house, “Caerwen” in Narbeth, which has been designed with for families with children with autism and other learning disabilities. Features include a soft playroom and secure fencing. The house can accommodate up to 6 people and is within easy reach of beaches and tourist attractions.
