All Party Parliamentary Disability Group

RADAR has provided the secretariat to the All Party Parliamentary Disability Group for over 25 years. The All Party Parliamentary Group on Disability (APPDG) is a group of MPs and peers from all political parties who are interested in issues which affect disabled people. It meets regularly in Parliament.

MPs' Guide to Disability

RADAR distributes a guide on disability to every Member of Parliament.  It is a practical guide which outlines how to make meetings, events and surgeries accessible for disabled people; highlights different information formats and communication aids available; gives practical guidance for meeting people with different impairments; and provides an overview of legislation regarding disability.

MP Dialogue Scheme

RADAR co-ordinates a national dialogue on disability issues where disabled people and disability groups across the UK meet with their MP in the same month to raise the profile of disability issues in Westminster.  In 2010, the MP Dialogue Scheme is not running because of the General Election.
