Many readers will know that the Department of Health provides Radar with nearly £300,000 a year to fund volunteering projects amongst our member organisations. This is a key benefit of organisational membership of Radar. The scheme will close on 31st March 2012, but will be replaced and refreshed by the Department with a similar funding stream – Radar will, of course, be seeking to secure further income for our member groups.
We’re delighted to feature three of these excellent projects – The Active Choices Volunteer Project in Kensington and Chelsea, Choice in Hackney and Peter Bedford Housing.
