The Event
Battersea Evolution is a stunning purpose built venue in the heart of Battersea Park. Surrounded by two hundred acres of beautiful woodland, lakes and bridges, it's the perfect solution to the end of a long day in the city.
The Evolution has played host to some extremely high profile events in recent years that include London Fashion Week, The British Video Awards, The Conservatives Black and White Ball, to name but a few. Entertainment has seen the likes of Elton John, The Sugar Babes, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey and so the list goes on.
From the moment you sweep through the magnificent gates of the park the hustle and bustle of the city becomes but a distant memory. As you and your guests wind your way through the beautiful flood lit grounds, you'll find the magnificent glass facade of the Evolution nestled beside the great lake. Searchlights illuminating the night sky will signal your arrival.
This is where the excitement really begins. As you arrive, Cossacks in dark bearskins will welcome you into our Russian wonderland. As the softly falling snow tumbles down from the heights of the atrium and the night sky beyond, you will be in total wonderment as you enter the first of our opulent rooms, hung with hundreds of crystal chandeliers, shimmering crimson baubles, and Faberge eggs. Arial acts and strange characters will fly through the air high above as the evening really gets underway.
Check out the Siberian ice bar or let us tempt you with some of the delicious cocktails on offer as you mingle with friends old and new. As the fragrant aromas start to fill the air around you, you will begin to understand that this is merely a taste of things to come.
Just as you think you couldn't be anymore bewitched by this feast for the senses, the enormous curtain rises. The dim candlelight barely gives you a clue as to what to expect as the lights slowly come up over the ballroom at the Evolution. Sumptuous fabrics fall from great heights as pine trees stretch into the sky. Rich tables laid with the most beautiful silver and crystal glitter by the light of hundreds of candles and state of the art lighting. So as the wine begins to flow, take your seats, sit back, and relax. We will thoroughly indulge you and your guests with a delicious selection from our exclusively designed menu.
Once we have satisfied you with our culinary delights and you have a glass of something lovely in your hand, we will begin the awards. You will be in the familiar hands of the incomparable Jeremy Hardy for the evening, so laughter, and lots of it, will also be on the menu. There are a total of eight awards this year with some wonderful surprises along the way. This is where you meet the winners and hear their stories, see what incredible things they've achieved and celebrate in their success. Reminding ourselves what this incredible night is all about and why we are all here.
There will be world-class entertainment and some truly magical moments throughout the evening. However don't be fooled into thinking that the once the awards are over the evening is to. This is where the party really begins as some of London's top DJs take to the stage for what promises to be a night to remember. The one thing our guests never want to do is leave, so this year, we have arranged for your pleasure, a special late night extension so you can truly party into the wee small hours. The bar will not close until 1.00am and there will be a full taxi service just outside the front doors to ensure you get you home safe and sound.
