This award is made to an individual for a lifetime's work and success in the furtherance of human and civil rights of disabled people.

Business Award

This award is made to an organisation that has demonstrated excellence in making disability equality integral to all aspects of its business.

Disabled Entrepreneur of the Year Award

This award is made to a disabled entrepreneur who has made their innovative business a great success, both in terms of financial success and impact on the community.

Public Sector Award

This Award is made to a public body that has proven its commitment to action under the Disability Equality Duty.

Media Award (for factual programming)

This award is made to a television or radio programme that has best reflected the lives or viewpoints of disabled people in a factual programme.

Media Award (for fictional programming)

This award is made to a broadcaster or programme maker who has best portrayed the lives or viewpoints of disabled people in a fictional programme.
