Leadership

We want to see more people living with disability or health conditions in leadership roles in every part of society. Our Leadership programmes are supporting tomorrow's emerging leaders.

Radar Consulting - helping you foster and develop disabled leaders in your organisation.

Join our Radiate network - for high flying senior or talented aspiring professionals with lived experience of disability or health conditions.

Radar publications Doing Careers Differently and Doing Work Differently enable disabled people to have maximum choice over their working lives.

Equality

We work for an equal society, where everyone living with disability or health conditions can fully participate.

We played a leading role in the campaigns of the 1980's which led to the passing of the 1995 Disability Discrimination Act (DDA). Our continued work contributed to the strengthening of those hard won rights in the 2010 Equality Act.

Radar Consulting - An organisation that performs well for disabled people, performs exceptionally for everybody.

The Radar People of the Year Awards are the largest and most important human rights event of their kind in Europe.

Routes Out of Poverty

We are working to break the link between disability and poverty.

We have expertise in employment and well-being, health and disability - find out more with Radar Consulting.

For advice from others who have avoided or overcome financial difficulties see our Doing Money Differently guide.

We influence Government by talking directly with Ministers and officials and lobbying in Parliament. We want welfare reform that reduces red tape but does not limit opportunities or cut the money in disabled people's pockets.

Independent Living

Independent living means having the support you need to live the life you choose - with the same control and decision-making as all citizens.

Opening doors to independent living - Radar produces a number of publications including 'If Only...', 'National Key Scheme Guide' and the 'Doing Life Differently series' and services including the Radar NKS key and smartphone app.

Why not shape the national disability rights picture? The grassroots support we receive and the evidence that members supply us with is vital to inform our national policy debates with law makers.
